Welcome to the Cat's Cradle web site!
Cat
of the month!! CeeCee!!
CeeCee is a beautiful 4 year old Buff and White Maine Coon mix female. This
wonderful girl is a big, quiet, well behaved cat. She is social, and enjoys
spending time with people. CeeCee also enjoys the company of dogs, and would
do well in a home with a nice dog. She was adopted when she was two years
old, and returned because her new owner didn't want to pay another pet deposit.
Poor CeeCee doesn't understand what she did to lose her home twice in her young
life. So, if you're looking for a magestic Maine
Coon mix, then look no further.
Call Kathy at 873-9976 for information on adopting CeeCee.
Adopt
a Special Needs Kitty!!!
We at Cat's Cradle of Greater Richmond have a special place
in our hearts for our "special needs" friends. Because they often need extra
care, these kitties are regularly left behind in the pounds. They
watch as cat after cat leaves the pound with a rescue group or happy family, all the time
wondering . . . when will it be my turn? Sadly, their
turn never comes. But, with Cat's Cradle championing these deserving
kitties, their turn has finally come.
Meet
Leema - One of our Star Kitties!!!
Many of you may be familiar with Leema, who recently lived in
our Luv-a-Pet Adoption Center at Petsmart. Leema is such a character that
many people got to
know her well during her days at Petsmart. Leema sure has
come a long way from her days sitting on death row at Henrico Pound. And,
now she's the star of an article about local animal rescue groups in RICHMOND MAGAZINE!!
Leema was a complete natural for her photo shoot. She bounced around the room,
posing and showing off for the photographer. We thank everyone at RICHMOND
MAGAZINE for giving Leema and Cat's Cradle of Greater Richmond a chance to be included
in such a wonderful article.
Adopt
an FIV+ kitty!!!
Are you looking for a new family member? If you are currently
catless, then you might be the perfect home for one of our wonderful FIV+ kitties.
Cats who test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) can and often do
live healthy normal lives with no signs of illness. Despite these encouraging
odds, it is common for these cats to be euthanized simply because they have tested
positive for FIV. We at Cat's Cradle believe that FIV+ cats deserve loving
homes. We have several fabulous and ultra-friendly FIV+ sweethearts waiting
to share their life with you. Our FIV+ kitties can be adopted as only pets,
as a pair with another FIV+ feline, or as a companion for a dog. To learn more about
FIV+ cats,

My name is Tuck and I am a classic Puddy Tat! I'm a happy Tuxedo boy - only
1 year old. I love to play and I'm very friendly. I'm FIV+.
