Welcome to the Cat's Cradle web site!
Can you help us save Crystal??
Crystal's Story:
Crystal is only 8 months old, but she is already facing a life-threatening
situation. Crystal has a polyp in her ear. Usually ear polyps are minor, and
are easily removed. But the polyp in Crystal's ear is deep and extensive, and
requires surgery by a specialist. If not removed, Crystal will suffer repeated
ear infections, followed by disorientation and seizures as the polyp grows. If
the polyp becomes extensive enought, the final result will be death. This
specialized surgery will cost between $1,700.00 and $2,000.00. Can you help us
pay for Crystal's surgery so that she can have the happy life she so deserves?
Adopt
a Special Needs Kitty!!!
We at Cat's Cradle of Greater Richmond have a special place
in our hearts for our "special needs" friends. Because they often need extra
care, these kitties are regularly left behind in the pounds. They
watch as cat after cat leaves the pound with a rescue group or happy family, all the time
wondering . . . when will it be my turn? Sadly, their
turn never comes. But, with Cat's Cradle championing these deserving
kitties, their turn has finally come.
Meet Ashlin !!!
Many of you may be familiar with Ashlin, who recently lived in our
Adopt-A-Pet center in Petsmart. Ashlin is one of our Whole Lotta Love kitties.
This special girl is 12 years old, yet you'd never now this when you play with
her. Ashlin lived a long, happy life, but when the children in her family
developed allergies, Ashlin found herself homeless. Ashlin is a super cute,
sociable blue-cream girl. She has an absolutely amazing coat which feels like
velvet, and giant golden eyes. Ashlin is a total lap cat and love machine, and
is sure to steal your heart. Can you give this wonderful girl the retirement
home she so deserves? Call Kathy at 873-9976.
Adopt an FIV+ kitty!!!
Are you looking for a new family member? If you are currently
catless, then you might be the perfect home for one of our wonderful FIV+
kitties. Cats who test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) can and
often do live healthy normal lives with no signs of illness. Despite these
encouraging odds, it is common for these cats to be euthanized simply because
they have tested positive for FIV. We at Cat's Cradle believe that FIV+ cats
deserve loving homes. We have several fabulous and ultra-friendly FIV+
sweethearts waiting to share their life with you. Our FIV+ kitties can be
adopted as only pets, as a pair with another FIV+ feline, or as a companion for
a dog. To learn more about FIV+ cats,
