Hi there. My name is Maxine. I am such a beautiful girl. I am a blue point Siamese mix with bright blue eyes. I am twelve years young (but look like a young girl), and was rescued from a public animal shelter where I lived in a cage for 3 months. I am such a sweet and loving girl that the wonderful people did their best to find me a forever home. But, alas for us senior kitties, everyone wants a young cat or kitten. After I was rescued, I went to the vet and got my teeth cleaned - I was definitely overdue to see the dentist, and feel much better now. I am super friendly, and thrive on attention. Adopted!! My foster mom decided that a girl with a bright and sunny disposition like me should have a colorful name. And so Marigold I am. Even though I am hardly more than a kitten at 18 months old. I was pregnant when I was rescued from that awful pound place. I have the spicy colors of a calico and the exotic stripes of a tabby, so I guess that makes me a tabico. Even though I am very young I have a quiet and calm disposition and I am fine with other kitties too. I'm as sweet as a chocolate éclair, minus all the fat and calories of course. Look at this fabulous Puddy Tat! What a cutie and he is only three years old. Recently rescued from Henrico Animal Control, Mr. Tuck is incredibly friendly and just an all 'round great cat. He loves to play with toys, run really fast from one corner of the room to the other and is good with other cats. Really, you could not find a better behaved more handsome tuxedo boy! Tuck is FIV+ which means that he needs to be with other FIV+ kitties or be an only cat. We just cannot say enough nice things about Tuck.
